Alertis’ primary source of funding has been venture capital. However, the company has also received considerable public grants due to the uniqueness of the technology, the products potential benefit to society and the commercial potential.

2007: Alertis received a pledge for NOK 3,5 million from Innovation Norway for development of the vital sign monitoring sensor, which will be a line extension.

2005: Alertis received a pledge for NOK 5 million in public funding as well as new funding from existing shareholders. 

2003: Alertis received about NOK 3 million in public grants  

2002: Alertis received about NOK 4 million in public grants

2000: Alertis Medical was founded and raised private equity from the funds NeoMed Innovation ASA and UK Medical Venture No.1.
